the District presents its basic financial statements using the reporting model for special-purpose governments engaged only in a single government program. The reporting
model allows the fund financial statements and the government-wide statements be to
be combined. The District has adopted GASB Statement 54 as part of its fiscal year
reporting.
The Board of Directors legally adopts an annual operating budget which may be amended by the Board throughout the year. The budget is prepared on the modified accrual basis of accounting. Budget amounts reflect the original budget adopted by the Board and the final budget after all applicable amendments. All budget appropriations lapse at year end. The District did not adopt an annual operating budget for fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.
