Greenfield Recreation Department: Enhancing Community Well-Being
At the Greenfield Recreation Department, we are committed to the belief that recreation is essential for the well-being of our community. Recreational opportunities and outdoor spaces are crucial for fostering a healthy, vibrant, and resilient community. Acknowledging the limited options available, we take pride in offering accessible recreational services. Our goal is to enhance residents' quality of life by providing safe, enjoyable, and budget-friendly recreational programs.
Parks and Management in Greenfield
Most parks in the City of Greenfield are situated within established residential neighborhoods. It is important to note that the City of Greenfield does not manage Oak Park or Memorial Hall. For inquiries at Oak Park please click here. For inquiries at Memorial Hall please click here. Mr. Jesus Perez oversees field operations at all City-operated parks and serves as the Parks & Recreation Director.
Typically, neighborhood park sites have been dedicated and developed by private developers alongside residential housing projects. While some smaller parks are maintained by a Homeowner’s Association, the majority are cared for by the Department of Public Works.
